POPINS CONTINUES GROUND BREAKING 3D LIVE SERIES WITH SASSYBLACK

  • SassyBlack joins the series on March 8th and demonstrates why she is the Goddess of Hologram Funk.

On Wednesday, March 8th at 6:30pm PT, SassyBlack, the Goddess of Hologram Funk, will take her fans on a hybrid IRL (in real life) to metaverse journey with Popins. A select group of VIP guests will gather at a secret location in Seattle, WA and enjoy an intimate evening with the electronic psychedelic soul Goddess. Simultaneously, patrons and fans around the world will conjure a live fully 3D version of the performance to create their own personal house concert.

Using just their phone, fans will place Sassy in their room as AR (augmented reality) where they can view her from every angle, make her big or small, and even take a picture to share. No app or download is required. Alternatively, fans can enter the VR (virtual reality) world and watch in their Quest 2 headset via the Forma Vision app.

Sassy will perform live and talk with people for a 3D AMA in the room and around the world for an entertainment experience like no other.

Popins 3D Live ft. SassyBlack powered by Forma Vision continues Popins’ space breaking series of episodic entertainment. 3D Live sessions feature musicians, comedians, and other performers, giving fans the opportunity to have real conversations and build human connections with creators they may not otherwise meet or see up close up due to challenging travel, illness, or other conditions. These sessions stand apart from other artist-focused AR because the artist is filmed with volumetric video, so they are seen as they really are, without the need for animation or motion capture suits.
