POPINS TAKES 3D LIVE NORTH OF THE BORDER FOR MULTI-ARTIST EVENT AT NFT BC
On April 28th and 29th leaders in the Web3 art space are gathering in Vancouver BC for fireside chats, networking, art installations, AR and VR experiences, live art, music performances, and another installment of Popins’ 3D Live Series. Popins’ unique format enables artists to simultaneously connect with fans IRL and throughout the world via augmented and virtual reality.
Artists representing an array of media and artistic expression are scheduled to perform and talk to fans as holograms including multidisciplinary artist Mad Dog Jones, futuristic tech-digital artist Fvckrender, Vancouver recording artist Forrest Mortifee, music NFT phenom Sammy Arriaga, and the talented Popins 3D Live alum and Web3 pioneer Rae Isla. Artists will present their art, discuss their projects, and provide their perspectives on the future of NFTs and Web3.

Michah Dowbak aka Mad Dog Jones is a multidisciplinary artist from Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he still resides. His works deftly interweave cyberpunk, dystopian imagery exploring themes of beauty, nature and technology. As a lover of the wilderness, which was ever present where he grew up, he brings a fresh thematic to the metropolitan aesthetic, done up in citrus and neon tones of technology somehow rendered as a space naturally human.

Futuristic tech-digital artist Fvckrender is a self-taught creative working out of Vancouver. With a defining affinity for sharp architectural geometry, beaming future landscapes and brilliant crystalline arrangements, his renders pay a dark homage to what may eventually reflect our very existence.

Forrest Mortifee (he/they) is a trans/non-binary recording artist, energy medium + ancient futurist hailing from Vancouver, Canada. They demonstrate their creative vision through musical exploration and authentic storytelling, illuminating time with palpable emotion and infectious wonder.
About Sammy Arriaga @SammyArriaga
Sammy Arriaga is a country artist with a significantly different background than most of his competitors. Born in Miami with Cuban heritage, Sammy lives in Nashville, where he makes music fueled by his eclectic roots. On top of an already-impressive web2 presence, Sammy has been paving a path towards a very bright future through web3 putting on a clinic for artists of all kinds, showing just how effective great music, proper social media strategy, and a budding web3 presence can be for creatives.
About Rae Isla @rae_isla
Rae Isla is an independent singer-songwriter and pioneer in the web3 music space, having sold over 1.5K Music NFTs and attended festivals around the world to present her music. Classically trained in cello, then studying voice as well as business at Berklee College of Music, Rae launched her career as an indie musician in Brooklyn, NY, collaborating on early releases with producer Gianluca Buccelati (Lana Del Rey, Arlo Parks). Rae is gearing up to release her sophomore album while traveling to perform, advise music platforms, and build a local & global community of true music fans.
